Our capacity building programs are a great way to meet and connect with people of all abilities and ages (7+).

 

Our programs are open to:

 

- NDIS participants and their families/friends

- NDIS support coordinators and service providers

- Anyone interested in meeting our support team

- Anyone interested in making friends within the local community

Dinner Party

Casual Group Catch Ups

Join us every 2nd month to relax and make friends over lunch in a safe, friendly and supported environment

Where: Participants vote on a local venue at each lunch. Some examples are (but not limited to) Warragul Downtowner, The Club Hotel, Newmasons, The Commercial, Yarragon Hotel, BBQ in the park. 

Venue: Our team will confirm with you which venue has been selected

When: Every 2nd Month (dates in the service agreement link below)

Time: 12 noon to 2pm

Cost: No Charge (Pay for your meal & drinks only) unless transport & support worker assistance is required*

Urban Day Trip

Enjoy exploring the fascinating ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image). ACMI is your destination for screen culture, where you can explore the worlds of film, television, video games, and art. Later enjoying a relaxing lunch and explore of Fitzroy Gardens.

When: Thursday 24 April 2025

Time: 9am to 5pm (traffic dependent)

Cost: Can be NDIS Funded*

  • ACMI; Museum of film, TV, videogames and art.

  • Tram Travel Training

Pizza

Pizza & Pasta Making Community Day

Learn and have fun making pizza, pasta and friends in a safe, friendly and supported environment

  • Making Homemade Pizza (Choice of Toppings)

Art Workshop Community Day

Have fun, be creative, develop self-awareness, self-esteem and social skills through art.

 

Meet new people and make friends in a safe, friendly and supported environment.

Le Mans March Community Day

We're joining Le Mans Entertainment and TDAC for a fun filled March Community Day. With go-karting, laser tag, mini-golf, and more!

Fishing

Learn to Fish

Where: Newhaven Fishing Charters

Time: 10am Arrival for 5 Hour Fishing Charter (11am Depart)

Cost: Can be NDIS Funded*

Accessibility: Wheelchair Friendly (Disabled Toilets Not On Vessel)

Includes: 

  • Learn fishing skills on a half-day fishing charter (5 hours) on the 'Seafisher'

  • Catch Whiting, Gummies, Tuna across Westernport or Bass Straight (depending on weather)

  • Fishing gear and local bait

  • Seafisher crew help clean catch and provide Cooking Tips

  • Hot lunch onboard (sausage sizzle, tea, coffee)

  • Private toilet on vessel (no disabled toilets)

  • Meet people and make friends in a safe and supported environment

Wildlife Adventure Community Day

Walhalla Railway Community Day

Join us for a magical and historical railway experience and make friends in a safe, friendly and supported environment

Where: Walhalla Station
